Watsons Bay is 11 kilometres north east of the CBD and known for the sea cliffs and several well known restaurants.

At Watsons Bay is The Gap a section of cliffs with views to
Manly at North Head and the Pacific Ocean.
Nearby is Camp Cove a family beach from where there is short walk past the nude bathing beach at Lady Bay. The coastal walk with ocean views of the Gap along South Head make Watsons Bay a popular tourist attraction in Sydney.
The Sydney Harbour Pilot Boat Station was located on the bay, and the naval training base HMAS Watson is located nearby at
South Head.
