Robertson Park

Sydney sightseeing

Robertson Park is located on the waterfront near Watsons Bay, and was named after John Robertson the New South Wales Premier. Today, the park is a popular picnic spot for both locals and visitors, as it enables some gorgeous harbour views, swimming and plenty of space to laze around in the sun. Although Sydney Harbour is quite large, very few locations provide everything in once place, as does Robertson Park.

Watsons Bay is in the affluent eastern Sydney suburbs, and if you visit Robertson Park and the local area, you'll soon realise why. Harbour side property is desirable, and highly-sort after. Local pass-times include tennis, sailing, and dining at one of the many cafes or elite restaurants that are in the area. As a tourist, it is easy to join in, and you'll love the stylish but relaxed city environment.

Watsons Park has a playground for children, and you can also swim in Watsons Bay or Watsons Bay Baths. A rotunda adds to the romantic atmosphere, and provides shade as do the ancient leafy trees. Robertson Park is perfect for couples and families. You'll find plenty to do, and the nearby community has shops and places to purchase food. This area of Sydney is clean, professional, and you'll find the service exceptional.

To reach Robertson Park you can drive or catch one of the many local buses. If you'd like to enjoy the beautiful and majestic Sydney Harbour by ferry, catch one to Watsons Bay wharf. You can feel the fresh ocean air on your face as you pass other boats and yachts, and then arrive at one of the most elegant parks that the city has to offer. These opportunities to explore Sydney, further prove how wonderful it is to either live or travel here.
