Pitt Street Mall

Located in the very heart of Sydney’s CBD, between Market Street and King Street, Pitt Street Mall is a pedestrianised bustling shopping hub. Not simply confined to the street itself, the shopping area continues through several shopping centres including Imperial Arcade, Westfield Centrepoint and The Strand Arcade. The mall is home to many familiar names including David Jones, Myer, Country Road and Glasshouse. The mall is also home to over 600 specialty shops.

Buskers of varying degrees of entertainment can be found here to entice you on a break from your shopping trip. All buskers need to have a licence to perform on Pitt Street Mall. As such, encounters with troublesome performers are rare.

Trading hours vary due to the large number of shops. Generally most stores open around 09:00am and close around 6:00pm but there are some variations allowing for late night shopping and Sunday shopping in some stores.
