Outback Centre

 

The Outback Centre, located in Darling Harbour, is dedicated to sharing knowledge and history of Australia’s outback and indigenous cultures.

 

The centre includes the Outback Store offering a range of Australian gifts and souvenirs ranging from clothing and books to didgeridoos and boomerangs. The Outback Store is a well-known specialist supplier of authentic aboriginal artifacts. The centre also includes a theatre featuring free performances and a gallery specialising in art works by both established and emerging aboriginal artists.

The Outback Centre is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm seven days a week.

The Outback Centre is located on Darling Walk near the Chinese Garden. The monorail, ferries and the City Shuttle loop buses stop near to Darling Walk. Darling Walk is also within walking distance of Town Hall and Central train stations.
