Oceanworld in Manly is home to sharks, stingrays and a myriad of fish species, Oceanworld is a great place to keep the kids entertained. Visit the shark tunnel, the Great Barrier Reef inspired aquarium, the reptile exhibit and even an occasional mermaid on show.
There are daily shows, tours and feeding sessions. For those feeling a little more adventurous, there is the opportunity to dive with the sharks. There are three levels of programs ranging from first timer to experienced diver. Kids may enjoy the snorkeling program, which allows them to swim in one of the aquariums among the fish life. For younger kids there are often free activities such as face painting and animal demonstration shows.
There is a gift shop and café at Oceanworld for a sit down and bite to eat. Oceanworld is located on the Manly waterfront. Its 200m from the wharf, you can catch a ferry there from Circular Quay. Manly is also serviced by local bus. There is limited car parking available.
