Mary Mackillop Place

Mary MacKillop Place is a spiritual, cultural and hospitality centre located in the middle of North Sydney. Onsite is the tomb of Saint Mary MacKillop in the Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel.

Mary MacKillop Place

Saint Mary MacKillop was an Australian Roman Catholic nun who, along with Father Julian Tenison Woods, founded the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart.

She was the first Australian to be canonised. In addition to a museum dedicated to her life and work, Mary MacKillop Place furthers her legacy by offering educational, conference and accommodation facilities.

There is also an onsite shop and café. It is within walking distance of North Sydney train station. There are no parking facilities onsite but there are metered on-street parking bays and several privately run car park stations nearby. Address: 7-11 Mount Street, North Sydney, NSW, 2060.
