Hoyts at The Entertainment Quarter is perfect for a day or a night out, in a leafy, out-door environment, within the eastern suburbs district of Sydney. This central location used to be called Fox Studios, and is right next to Centennial Park. This diverse venue also features the Horden Pavilion, restaurants, retail shops, and is frequently used for other special events.
The Entertainment Quarter is a multi-purpose venue, and is popular with both young children, families, and teens. For the very young children there is a clean and well-kept playground, an indoor play centre, and for the older generations, they can enjoy the pubs, bars and licensed restaurants within the complex.
If you want to catch up with friends or family members, or even if you’re going on a first date and want to impress, head to The Entertainment Quarter, and catch a movie at the Hoyts Cinemas, because before and after the film, there will be plenty more to do and entertain, even for the most fussy person.
You can reach Hoyts EQ via Sydney public transport, as many buses run from the city along Anzac Parade. You can alight at Moore Park and Centennial Park, and this is a major stop, so the bus driver will be able to help you. This is also a major route for buses, so there is no need to actually view a timetable. Parking is also not a problem, and unless there is a major event on, you shouldn’t have an issue. Just remember to get your tickets early for popular times and new releases, as Hoyts EQ is a popular destination.
