From large scale concerts and events to lively pubs to intimate bars, there is a something for everyone when it comes to Sydney nightlife.

Sydney is a city which never sleeps. You can guarantee on any given night there will be a live show, a great pub or a hidden bar that you can visit or enjoy.

Theatre, musicals and live concerts are held at venues such as the Opera House, the Sydney Entertainment Area. Grab a bite to eat in one of the excellent restaurants surrounding either before or after, many offer deals to those with theater tickets.

Sydney is home to some great Australian pubs, there are also some excellent bars to stop by for a  drink. The nightclubs in Sydney are some of the best in the world, attracting big name DJs and boasting some of the most high tech sound and light systems in the world.

Darling Harbour, Kings Cross, The Rocks and Oxford Street are all hubs for night life and entertainment.

Free Entertainment
On summer weekends free music is arranged in many parks and includes The Domain; Martin Place and Darling Harbour 's Tumbalong Park amphitheatre. Buskers perform at the Opera House, Circular Quay, The Rocks and Kings Cross and on The Corso in Manly. Speakers' Corner in The Domain on Sunday afternoon is open house and be entertained by the views be spoken. A free Aboriginal dance performance is held at the Art Gallery of NSW, at noon from Tuesday to Saturday.
