Bungan Beach is an unspoilt haven of sand, sun and bushland located north of Sydney. The 600 metre long beach is surrounded by several nature reserves which are havens for local flora and fauna.
Bungan beach is a 45 kilometres drive north of Sydney. It's visited less by tourists than other beaches, so a great option if you are looking to escape the crowds. For walkers, there are several walking tracks through the nature reserve that is right on the beach, and also a natural lookout at the 103 meter summit of Bushranger's Hill. If journeying here from Sydney, Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park is right next door, so there are many options to make this a fantastic outdoor adventure trip.
